Flocake - Development of an E-Commerce Platform and POS System for Flower and Gift Sales
The e-commerce platform was built to support both individual customers and offline sales points, focusing on flower and gift products. It features a product catalog, online ordering, fast payment flow, and notification mechanisms. Customers can easily browse and purchase products from any device, track their orders, and receive real-time updates.
The system is fully integrated with a POS solution, enabling inventory tracking, stock management, sales synchronization, and automated reporting from one centralized platform. This integration created a unified ecosystem that connects online and offline sales channels, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and complete sales automation.

The stages we went through in this project
01/
A digital strategy and technical requirements were defined for Flocake to move its flower and gift sales fully online. The goal was to create a unified system integrating both web and in-store sales.
02/
Functional requirements for the e-commerce platform were defined: product catalog, cart, discount system, payment module, and multilingual interface. Real-time synchronization with the POS system was planned.
03/
The database was designed on Laravel and MySQL. The architecture allowed real-time synchronization of online and offline sales, stock, and customer data.
04/
A visually elegant interface was designed in Figma to match the Flocake brand. Simple checkout flow and emotional product presentation were prioritized for both desktop and mobile.
05/
Frontend was built using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery with SEO-friendly coding, schema markup, and optimized loading performance.
06/
Stripe and local payment systems were integrated on the Laravel backend. Orders were automatically processed with email and Telegram notifications.
07/
A dedicated POS interface was developed within the same CMS. In-store sales, stock updates, and cashier reports were synchronized in real time.
08/
A socket infrastructure was built using Node.js, enabling real-time order updates, status changes, and notifications between the POS and admin panel.
09/
A Redis caching system was implemented to significantly improve response times for product listings and search results.
10/
The project was deployed using Docker containers. Backend, frontend, Node.js socket, and Redis services run in isolated containers for stability and scalability.
11/
An internal SEO management tool was added to the admin panel, allowing control over meta titles, keywords, Open Graph, and sitemap settings per page or product.
12/
The system was deployed on a VPS server managed by PROWEB. Cloudflare CDN, SSL, and Docker-based infrastructure ensured strong security and high performance.
13/
Comprehensive testing covered order flow, socket communication, POS operations, SEO structure, and performance. The project was launched successfully with ongoing technical support.
